The factory reset could be still helpful because the correct APN might not have worked unless you already did.

If it's a dual SIM phone, try the other slot. Some dual SIM phones have only 2G connection on one.
Looks like the OP found this solution already:

Remove the apn settings and restart your phone. The phone automatically takes the apn from the sim.
I didn't had to put anything or change in my apn.
If this fails, then manually try to put the correct settings for pm.
The APN settings do not come from the SIM card. It is stored in an APN configuration file. The phone attempts to match the SIM to what is on file. In certain instances, a match might not be found and manual entry is necessary. Often carrier supplied phones come with hacked APN configuration file where the competition's APN settings are removed. Sometimes it is just not available on file. A friend who is on Public Mobile bought a ZTE Axon and he had to manually add the APN.

Assuming all the APN fields are correct, the next thing I would do is check that cellular data is turned on and that if there was a data usage limit set, it is higher than the current usage on the meter. This is kind of obvious, it is the next most likely cause of no data.

Maybe this post will help:

Sometimes it's easier to create a new APN rather than edit an existing one. Be sure to power cycle your phone after you change settings.
If that doesn't help, I think you'll need to send a private message to a moderator including your phone number to have them take a look at it. How to contact mods:
