So, I signed up yesterday with PM, 90 day plan with 6Gb of data. Calling out and calls received ok. Texts ok. No data.
I've followed the instructions on how to set up the APN for my Nexus 5 (Android). I've also deleted the APN file and redid this three times. Ive rebooted multiple times. What is confusing is that I moved my wife's phone (Nexus 5 also) over to PM a couple of weeks ago and no problems!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes I agree, it is a great phone...it's the operator that has the issues!!

@pitchpol glad to hear you figured it out! The Nexus 5 was a awesome phone. Wish I never got rid of mine...

I swapped the SIM card and my wife's phone worked fine with my SIM card.
Did some more comparing with APN settings and noticed that the MVNO settings were different. After matching the settings, no change. Then I realized that I still had my data turned off! So sorry to trouble you on a very stupid mistake.

That's odd. What if you try your wife's sim card in your phone? Or vice versa. Then you can rule out I'd it's the phone or sim/account
