Hi there. I am unable to transfer my existing Bell Canada mobile number to Public Mobile. It is a valid Canadian number, SIM is in the phone etc. but when I enter it to transfer, I get an error "Please enter a valid Canadian phone number". Please help!

Yes, while most number cannot ported around, some might not be able to port over to some provider.
In this case, it depends on if Telus/PM has the system setup on the phone number location (each number in fact tie to a particular city/town).
Use the link @Triguy provided and confirm. If it fails, then this number would not be able to port into PM/Kodoo/Telus

Some numbers are not transferable between carriers. You can check here.

Leave out any dashes. Are you entering the full 10 digits?
