Hi,

after coming back from a 30days+ trip my phone cannot get any connection to PublicMobile anymore.

Already tried different phone with same SIM, getting connection to 3G but no actual Data, and voice service unavailable.

Didnt stop paying nor changed any of my plans etc.
Please advise ASAP.

You account is still active after traveling for 30+ days.  You must be on a 90 days plan.  Am I correct?

When you say "turned off cell while aboard", do means you keep your pm SIM card in your phone with the airplane mode enabled and wifi turned ON?

OR remove pm SIM card and use wifi for Internet

Alright ... so after using the Stolen / Resume ( waiting for about 10min ) trick,
I finally got a connection AFTER I called my number despite the status being Disconnected.

Once I picked up the call I also started getting all the text which queued up in the mean time.
Now it says in service 😉

Cheers

You should also check Settings>General>Device Management

if there are any different profiles you should remove them

Lol yeah I even checked APNs, choose networks etc.

Trying the Stolen / Resume thing next.

That is good. The APN settings are staying with PM?

Try going to self serve and select the phone as Lost/Stolen. Log out and wait a few minutes. Log back in and select it as found. Let us know if that works.

EDIT: I assume you turned the cell network back on as you said it is showing PM?

Unfortunately neither. I was not in the US. And did not put any other SIM into my phone.,
( have another phone incl. SIM for Europe )

Network status now says PublicMobile. But I can neither call out nor getting called. Text nor data. SIM card show correct phone number as well.
Tried two different phones which all work with other SIM cards.

What does your self serve account say ? Active?

EDIT: You never used your phone wile you were away?

I find a network reset usually fixes the issue

iPhone Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Android. Settings>General ManagementReset>Reset Network Settings

Did you get a local SIM card at your destination?

What phone are you using?

Restart you phone may fix your issue.

If not, do a network reset your phone.

Going for more information on this.

Your 'desired' phone to use, did you use a local sim, and possibly forget to turn off roaming, and re=attach to Public Mobile network?

Were you in the US Immediately prior to returning to Canada, and using a PM US Roaming package that has just recently expired?  This is a known issue for US Roaming SMS, but not sure on data and voice activity.

Is your plan in 'Active' status, according to self-serve?
