I purchased and activated my new sim cart and my phone number is xxxxxxxxxx but when i inserted the card in my phone Tecno Camon 16 S. there is no network signal. however when i tried it on my friends phone the card worked perfectly.

Could you help unlock my phone?

It has already been established that the phone is essentially incompatible with Public Mobile. The device is entirely unable to make or receive phone calls at Public Mobile.

Yes, PM needs

 

3G UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA: B2 (1900) and B5 (850)
4G FDD-LTE: B4 (1700/2100 AW1), B5 (850), B7 (2600), B12 (700), B17(700)

 

 

but your phone has

3G Bands   HSDPA - 900 / 2100  <- not compatible at all 
4G Bands    1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28   <- only band 7 works on PM

 

you really need another phone to be used on PM (as well as Koodo and Telus and Bell)

can you try to reset network settings on an Android device
  1. Open the Settings app on your Android.
  2. Scroll to and tap either "General management" or "System," depending on what device you have.
  3. Tap either "Reset" or "Reset options."
  4. Tap the words "Reset network settings."

and Reboot your phone.

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone about 2 minutes and turn it back on.

@MAKOHAGOD   It looks like your phone does not have the required bands for 3G network on Public Mobile.  if that is the case , your phone won't work for voice here.

 

 

Even for LTE, your phone only have some bands and not all that works here

If your phone is locked you need to contact your previous carrier to have it unlocked.

remove your personal information in community site the are all customer like me and you, you can't post any personal info.. go to your message at edit reply. and remove it..

and if you try to test your SIM card in another device and is working then your device issue.
