I have ported my number from telus 7 hrs ago it shows my account is active but still cannot make or receive calls or texts

Put the telus sim back in and have no service the account has been deactivated.

Rebooted several time, took the telus sim out after I confirmed the transfer. Using a physical sim card. Gone to Sim section and it shows the public mobile sim is there with my phone number. When I log into my account it shows my service is active but still cannot make or receive phone calls.

If you leave your Telus SIM card in the phone, is it still active?

Have you tried rebooting your phone? Do you still have the Telus SIM card in the phone? Did you purchase an eSIM? If so, have you gone into your SIM section and chosen it as your primary and then rebooted?
