So tried to get my friend new subscription.   Gave him my sharing is caring number.  Did all the necessary info.  Get to end.  Payment denied.   They didn’t ask him for address   Frustrating

Welll that’s dumb.   I think he gave up

Use of the Public Mobile app is required to activate a new account. Once the new account is up and running successfully, you can delete it if you want to.

There is no way to accidently add a (extra) space in the postal code.  Public Mobile systems ignore it if a customer presses the spacebar or otherwise tries to enter a space in the postal code, so the above actually makes no difference.  The postal code gets automatically formatted (with a space).

you / friend must download the app to your / their cell to create a new account and activate that account. (use your referral code during activation and they get $10 credited to the new account within 72 hrs ..usually less). The only accepted payment method now is Visa/Master card debit card. You can use Vanilla Visa / Mastercard available at retail locations like Canada Post or Walmart.

Did he use Public Mobile app to subscribe? Try it if he has not done so.  Or if he did already, uninstall and reinstall the app
