New customer activation. Cannot get data to worl

Calling and texting works.  Data/MMS does not 

What I have tried so far:

- setup APN (and triple checked all settings are correct)

- reset network settings

- factory reset device

- restart phone

Hardware info:

- lg v20

- hs997 (Sprint variant)

- unlocked

I've spent the past few hours reading forums and trying everything but cannot get it to work.

Please advise. Thank you!

Before posting this question I had reset network settings as well as reset phone.  Neither of things on their own solved the problem.  Adding "default,MMS" to the APN type field solved the problem.

@Lgv20  were you able to set the apn or did you have to reset the network settings or the whole phone?

@Lgv20  by looking at your username I figure you have an lg phone??  If that's the case usually with an lg phone you have to reset network settings after switching to public mobile! If that doesn't work reseting the whole phone usually does the trick!   Read up on lg phone and no data on the community

Likely still an APN issue. Try apn type of default,mms  in small letters and no space before or after the comma.
