New activation under 40$ 8gb june 23 promotion

Hello all

Just ported my bell account to public mobile under the above plan yesterday. When I was signing up for the plan I noticed the mobile booth lady didnt have 40$ 8gb option so she chose 50$ 8gb option. 

 

However the home page of the public mobile website showed the offer was valid for june 22 n 23.

 

Just need clarification if she made a mistake or not?

There was conflicting information on how to take advantage of this promotion depending on where you looked.

 

Alan_K has stated account adjustments will be done automatically and there is no need to contact moderators about this specific situation.

@rav527  No need. If they need to verify your account they will replay back with a verification link.

You'll be asked to verify all that in their first reply.

If your notifications are still default then you'll get an email from them. Don't reply to that. Come back here and see the red blob above the little envelope in the upper right and click on that and then click on the subject line to read the whole thing.

There was no such option of limited time offer 40$ 8gb plan. Plus the lady that signed us up didnt have much experience with public mobile as she was new. 

 

Fyi The phone booth was located in superstore.

@rav527I would recommend that you notify the Public Mobile team of the issue so that you can get a better spot in the queue.  To contact Public Mobile click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

 

Note: Moderator Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am(Eastern) to 12 am (Eastern) and Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am(Eastern) to 10 pm (Eastern).

@rav527  Did she select "Limited time: $50 8GB plan for $40 for first 6 months" ?
