Hi I am expecting a new phone today and have been with public mobile for a couple years now and currently have an E-sim and the phone number I've had for 5+ years. I'd like to keep my service and same phone number for my new cell phone. Do I need to buy a new E-sim for the new phone and then transfer my phone number to that E-sim to be able to keep my same service and phone number? What's the process like? I'm finding some confusing answers online to how this process works. Thank you in advance

Hello @Pinky5,
You will need to access your online account from your new phone and buy an eSim.
Visit the 'Subscription & Add-ons' page in My Account
Select the option to purchase a new eSIM
Complete the payment, and a new eSIM will be issued to you.

Thank you for the quick reply! And for the confirmation of keeping my service and number. I have no issue with purchasing a new E-sim, but if it's free or I get a credit back that's a bonus! Thank you again 🙂

@Pinky5 You just need to download the public mobile app on the new phone and log into your account and rebuy eSIM . The system should recognize that you have eSIM now and be free at check out . And you will keep same phone number and plan no worries . If for some strange reason public mobile does charge you for the eSIM . Just use the orange chat bubble bottom right of screen and they will credit you back the $ for eSIM
