New Account-No incoming service

Referral friend isn’t getting incoming texts or calls.  I read this can happen because the SIM card was taken out too soon. (The 4 step instructions don’t clarify when to put it in) 

New account not receiving calls or texts! A call was made to Bell and we were told it was straightened out but still not working and it’s been over a week. 
When I call their number it goes straight to voicemail. They were with Bell. How to fix this?  The message is the old one set up with Bell and I think that’s wrong-shouldn’t it be set up with PM and how is that done anyway 😅 We are not techy people. Much appreciation for any help. Btw, the phone in question is an LG5

They will have to Bell to reinitiate the text to port over

Thank you. I’m going to try that and hopefully it will clear up the issue.

@mindfulmum  The port is stuck or they didn't leave bell sim in to authorize the port via a text message that is sent that you have to reply yes to.

Have the person that is trying to come over reach out to support.
