Network upgrade

I checked my phone IMEI number, it indicated the device is not compatible with pulbic mobil network. So I need to swith to Telus network in future?

All carriers will end 3G in Canada by 2027 so get ready for the big purchase from members with older phones.

Please note that your device was not approved on PM whitelist of approved device on PM network.

You might want to contact Telus or Koodo if your device is approved on Telus whitelist.

Chances are if your device is an older (6 years or older) device or a non-Canadian device…It probably is not compatible.

If it is a phone issue, you can upgrade to one compatible with PM's VoLTE network    Hare are couple choices that will work:

• iPhone 8 or later
• Google Pixel 4 or later
• Samsung S22 or later
• Samsung Flip 2/Fold 2 or later
• Samsung A15/A35/A55 or later

But generally most major brands of phones released after 2024 and are designed and sold for the Canadian market should work.  ( BUT Imported phones/grey market phones sold on marketplaces likely won't work)
