I recently purchased a plan with Public Mobile. After receiving a text from Rogers, I replied “YES” to port my number.
The Public Mobile eSIM was installed on my iPhone, but I was unable to receive any incoming calls. At the same time, the Rogers network was still showing as available on my phone.
To try and fix it, I reset the network/eSIM settings on my iPhone, but this ended up removing the eSIM profile entirely. Now I’m not sure how to re-install the eSIM or resolve the issue with not receiving calls.
Has anyone experienced this before? Do I need to re-install the eSIM, or take additional steps to complete the port? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Update:
After resetting the network settings and eSIM, my iPhone 15 almost turned into a brick. I wasn’t able to access the App Store (kept showing “Unable to Connect”) to reinstall the Public Mobile app. I eventually had to hard reset the iPhone just to repurchase the eSIM.
The good news is I got the eSIM reinstalled, but my original problem still persists:
I can make outgoing calls (e.g., I can call my other number).
I cannot receive incoming voice calls — the call doesn’t ring, and the caller just hears a hang-up tone.
Thank you to everyone who helped me troubleshoot the eSIM so far 🙏 — does anyone have ideas on how to fix this incoming call issue?

I’m trying to purchase one through the app, but I can’t log in. After entering my credentials, it just loops back to the login page instead of redirecting me to the main account page.

If your deleted the PM eSIM, you have to repurchase another. It should be free since you previously purchased one.
Ensure you disable the Rogers one.
