Need a fix for iPhone to Android Messaging

kkarin

I just transferred to Public Mobile from Rogers. Everything seems to be working but I can't message my husband on his Android phone.  I get message "not delivered". I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with IOS 26.2.1 installed. I've restarted the phone and reset network settings.  I'm not sure what else to do.  I am using an eSIM for Public Mobile.

RCS and MMS Messaging are turned on.  My send and receive addresses include my phone number.

It worked. Thank you.  I also had to make some changes to cellular data. It looked like I still had Rogers enabled and Public Mobile. When I changed that, the RCS activated and messages went through.

Yes, mobile data (I assume you mean cellular data, right?) is turned on.  My phone only has RCS and MMS messaging. Both are turned on.

I've disabled RCS and waited an hour. I rebooted and re-enabled RCS. It says "waiting for activation".  I see on the internet that this can take up to 24 hours. I will wait (I tried rebooting, but it still says waiting). Hopefully, it will do the trick. I'll let you know.

@kkarin  are you sure that this is the only sms not sending? Others going and received ok?

Make sure you have Mobile data on.

Send as SMS and MMS must also be turned on in settings.
