I signed up for the 50% off promo and when I checked my phone with my IMEI # it said it was eSIM compatible.  Now that I need to finish the activation, it says it is not compatible.  I don't mind ordering a SIM card, but will I lose out on the promo while I wait for the SIM card?

I have an Samsung S20.  I ordered a SIM through Amazon and it should be here tomorrow.  I hope I don't lose out on the plan.

if you phone cannot use eSIM, you need to change to physical sim anyway

but the sim, then message PM and ask them to update it for you, you can submit  ticket by direct message:

i have same problem ,i can go store buy a sim card ,but i don't know to to active it ,and before paid the plan fee, i choose esim ,but my phone camn't use esim!i have no way to active ,even i buy a physical card ,i camn't active it.

Yep, with prime you get it next day. W/o prime you buy something else for free shipping over $35 in 2 days.

Public Mobile takes up to 10 business days if you buy it from their website.

No you will not loose out as you have to pay for the plan upfront.

What phone do you have ?

Buy a $5 SIM card from Amazon.  Or from Telus for $10.

but yes, you will probably need to change to a physical sim.  You can get a PM physical sim from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink store , then ask PM support agent to update the sim card for you to complete the activation
