Hello! I have 1GB of data every month. It has just been 4 days since my plan got renewed and I got a message saying that I've used 95% of my limit. My usage tab on my home screen shows 942MB used, but when I check my usage history, it shows that I have hardly used 100MB. Can someone help me process this discrepancy? Thanks

After I press that refresh button, it seems to work. Counter-intuitively, pressing the refresh button on the browser does not do the job and the "Updated a few seconds ago" is incorrect. Anyways, the refresh button is working as of now, I just hope the false warning messages stop. @bt4647 is correct. I do not have any rate/data limiter on my device and when PM sends the message that I've used 100% of my data (even though I clearly did not), the internet through mobile data does indeed stop working.

No this issue has nothing to do with any data limit on the device. In fact I have not set any limits on the device.
And I receive text messages from Public mobile with these usage limits. It is safe to assume that text messages from Public mobile are not linked to any data tracking from device OS. I have seen multiple users post about the same issue in the community.

I am currently having the issue since past 2-3 months. I get a message a week or so after the new cycle starts about reaching 75% data but I am no where near the limit and it reflects on the Public Mobile online account. A few more days after the first message, I receive hitting 95% data limit and same, by that time I am usually around 30-40% actual usage and reflects the online account. And, the main problem is that after the system thinks it has reached 100%, the data stops working even though I have not reached the data limit on my profile.
I have posted about this issue in community here before, but haven't been provided with a solution.

Also bear in mind that the self-serve screen (after being refreshed) is the most accurate measure of data consumed during a cycle.
One thing you might want to consider is resetting your device's data counter on the morning of each renewal so you can use your device to see how much data you've consumed (as opposed to logging on every time).
And don't rely on those silly SMS messages about data used - they are not always reliable.
