Good morning and greetings from Vancouver Island!
I am a happy PM customer; may best friend not (yet)...we are both sort of e-technical illiterate, so that does not help him.
Issue:
*he can't access PM notifications on his new iPhone 17 which only does e-Sims.
*apparently he has 2 e-Sim cards on his phone
Question: how does he know (one of) these e-Sims are actually activated? He can't receive any PM notifications.
*when he logs into his PM account and he wants to post a question on the community forum (like I just did now in order to post on his behalf) the PM asks to input a code. Since his iPhone somehow does not seem to be working correctly he can't or does not receive this notification with the code and hence he can't access the support from the PM community...he keeps being looped and looped and just does not know what to do...
There is a 1-888 number somewhere on the PM website as a contact us but when you call the number you get a (government?) department handling complaints from Canadians
Is there any one with time, patience and iPhone experience that can help him out??
I will give him access to my PM account so he can follow up on this post himself (of course, I will text him when I get a PM notification when one of you contacts me on his behalf) until he is up and running on his own PM account.
Thanks people and have a great weekend!
Gary

HellohTideGnow,
Just wanted to let you know, after 3 days my friend got his phone to work on PM.
Apparently he was doing all the PM via the iMac and he kept bumping in these verification issues.
He figured out finally he has to do all this through the APP ON HIS PHONE...worked like a charm!
Wanted to thank you for your efforts in trying to help out!

hi @G0ng
best way is to disable (toggle off Turn off this line) with his other esim (do not delete)
then reboot the phone and reset network settings on the phone and test
