Hi, I'm new to public mobile this may be a dumb question but my billing cycle was today and I paid for my phone bill yesterday and my data isn't resetting. Does my data reset after my billing cycle ?.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I have it automatically paid on the 15th of August, however until now (the 20th) it still hasn't reset my data usage for my plan.
It still shows on both my phone and my account that I have used 4.6GB of my allowance, and didn't reset to zero.
Can someone let me know why this is is happening and if I reach 8.5GB now this cycle, will my data get cut off even though it didn't renew?
I have no idea how to contact someone from Public mobile (such as a moderator?) I'm new and hoping someone can assist.
Thank you 🙂
Disregard the phone. The real counter that matters is the one on the overview page. This is a sporadic problem. You'll need to contact the @Moderator_Team < Click this.
Perhaps you could try the lost/stolen feature and report back with your findings.
Log in to self-serve. Plan & Add-Ons from top menu. Lost/Stolen Phone from next menu. Suspend Service button. Log out. Wait a few minutes. Log back in and back to Lost/Stolen Phone and Resume Service this time. Log out. Restart phone.
See what happens.

@marlon1994, yes, that is what the system says... wording could be better in my mind on the system.
I see the Overview page showing the date as the ‘top up by date’, if you’re not set up for AutoPay. From what I think I’ve read previously, I think AutoPay was not originally an option, and in fact, it’s become a dynamic payment based on available funds, rather than a predefined amount that was originally used for AutoPay.

I agree that it's confusing. But yes that second date is when the money actually transacts.
If you use the 611 service it'll tell you that too.

Thank you for everyone's fast response. I looked through the community and apparently, if I look at the My reward date and not the payment due date in the overview section, my reward date would be more accurate. Hopefully, this helps and everyone's response help.

@ute1978, it’s not a system glitch, the process is just not a snap of the fingers quick.
The process takes time to complete, but at no time the is to be suspended or not active, even if the self serve system says it is.
Yes, the messages displayed are scary, but there should be no issues. As funds have already been topped up by the original poster, this renewal process should be very smooth.

Oh @marlon1994, on more important advice. Do not. by any means. try. to log in to your account tonight. Shortly before renewal it will switch to "Plan expired" before the payment will be processed. It will give you a heart attack. This is a system glitch! And everything will be fine in the morning.

As described by @popping, your payment and renewal will complete tomorrow, restoring your data at that time. Please ignore any warning messages over night, UNLESS you have no service on your phone.

Your payment due date is today Nov 4th according to your screen shot. Your renewal date is one day later. Shortly after midnight today, your renewal will take place. You have $40 available fund which will be enough to renew your $40 plan. Your data usage will be reset around the time of your plan renewal.

Hello Marlon,
Your data should reset every month at the end of your payment. Basically, you will get a renewal of your data every month.

I used a credit card I heard people were having issues with vouchers. I also had a $3.00 credit when I first activated my sim at walmart because they didn't have the voucher for my plan.

Your payment due date is tonight at 12am. So tomorrow your data should have reset.

This is my phone bill

Data should reset. There is occasional story of data not resetting. What does your overview page say? Re renewal date is it tomorrow or 39 days from now? Payment and renewal dates I think are 1 day apart.

@marlon1994, your account should auto reset after payment and renewal. Can you login to your self serve and confirm the account is in active status.
