Most of the time, reset network setting on your LG phone will fix your data issue after switching to a new provider. If reset network does not fix your data issue, backup your data and do factory reset with your PM SIM card inserted.

I can understand your frustration with this. Can you go to settings > network > data manager, and make sure you disable it as it can pause your data at a certain amount. Next, try turning off your phone for 10 seconds then back on. next turn airplane mode on for 10 seconds then back off. If that does not fix it, go to settings > network > mobile data and make sure it is on.
