I am supposed to receive 2 gb of bonus data for 6 mo ths after joining. I am on month 3 and the bonus data is nowhere to be seen.

When exactly 3 months ago did you sign up? Which promo code did you use? When you entered it, did you get a nice green checkmark of success?
If you're looking at your account on a desktop, if you keep scrolling down any add-ons and past the shop button, do you see another box of any promo items?

@Dangrafton did you make any plan change lately? the bonus will stays as long as you keep the same plan. But any kind of plan change, even moving to 4G plans or moving to a more $$ plans will end the activation bonus
