Making extra payment

I have a gift card for $20.  Trying to put this $20 payment against my account isn't working.

I put in all the CC info but after I put in the $20, the system adds GST and PST, showing $22.40.

Is there another way?

Hi @Poleman1

There is another option, however, it would of course have an extra "cash" fee of whatever the taxes are in your area. Simply go into a Shoppers Drug Mart, use that $20 gift card and purchase a $20 Public Mobile voucher. There are no extra fees, just whatever the taxes are in your province. Then, wait a bit, dial 611 from your phone and add the voucher to your account. Easy as pie!

@Poleman1 if you $20 is a prepaid payment card, then yes, it would not be enough as PM needs to add tax in top.

It is best for you to first load the enough money to the payment card and then use it for PM payment.  Or use another card that has higher amount or credit limit

This card is only for $20 and I want to apply that $20 to my account.

@Poleman1 tax being added to the $20 payment is normal.  We all need to pay Tax on top of that plan amount

$22.40 will be charged to your credit card, $20, the actual usable amount will be shown as Available Funds.  if you have a $20 plan, it will pay off at renewal, it won't be taxed a second time
