@josephcommerce,

Picture messaging on BlackBerry smartphones requires the BlackBerry 10 operating system or newer.

Hi @ASYED

From section 3 of Public Mobile's Plans page;

  • (3) Includes text and picture messaging. Premium and subscription-based messages, and messaging to and from non-Canadian numbers, are not included. Picture messaging on BlackBerry smartphones requires the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

Blackberry Bold is pre-BB10 software so it will not work.

For Apple it is different.

Yes, Android, BB, ans Apple each have their own Acess Point Name ( APN settings) which controls the access to the gateway Data services each carrier has as part of their services. Perhaps Public Mobile should consider having a APN settings guide for each brand, Android, BB, Apple, so that ppl have correct info on this. I believe this is essential, for the DIYS day of age, as part of the tools of the trade for the average handsettyman and handsettywoman and of course handsettychild

@ASYED,

For MMS and DATA (internet), you need to have the correct APN in your phone.
