Last week my Nokia 6.1 stopped downloading MMS. I have done the APN update, restarted my phone (multiple times). I have enough data.
What else can I do?

My husband also uses PM in an android phone and his MMS is still working. We don't want to remove simcards and try in other phones. Google messages is the app that I am using. I am not keen to lose all my messages.
I cannot delete my APN's unless there is one in use so I added the new. Deleted the old. Rebooted and still nothing.

try your PM sim card in another phone.
and on your phone, test with Google Message. If it is not installed, download and set it as default app. if it is there already, uninstall, reboot phone and reinstall (please note you will loss all your messages from before)
and for the APN, did you delete and readd new? to many, simply update did not work. delete, reboot and re-add new, make sure no extra space and case-sensitive.

This also did not work. Is this an issue on the public mobile side?

@Some1north give another try
Delete your current APN profile
The Add new and manually enter this
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy:
Port:
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Server:
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS Proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca
MMS Port: 8799
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
or default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
(might need to include DUN for hotspot, please note case sensitive)
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
or Turn APN on/off APN turned on
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) type: GID

That does not solve the issue.

APN Type: default,supl,mms
or default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
New Settings:

MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca
MMS port: 8799

Yes, I have turned the data on. I have been downloading MMS for 4 years with this phone & public mobile but it stopped working. I am also unable to submit a ticket via the chat.

I guess you have DATA on even though phone will not use your data for MMS. It does not matter if you have data or not; setting has to be on.
