Loss of service twice within the last day

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue at least. Last night at about 10pm central I had no service, and now at about 9 am I had the same issue, after restarting my device it came back online, however this is still annoying.

Before you say it, my sim card matches this clearly has nothing to do with it.

Maybe observe for the next few hours to days.  

 

If it continues to be an issue, if possible, try your SIM card in another working phone to see if the issue continues.  This helps determine whether it is a hardware issue versus Public mobile service problem.  

 

If PM service problem, you may need to contact moderator to check your account.  

 

If possible hardware issue, maybe try network reset.  Manually select 3G on your phone.

I like many others I'm sure have been getting lots of spam messages with suspicious links over the last while, I'm assuming that's what's happening there.

 

No outages anywhere near me so I wonder what's going on.

Glad to hear that it was not a SIM jack situation. There have been several recent cases and since it can cause lots of issues for customers, it is good to rule it out first.  

 

Did you check if there was a Telus service outage in your area?
