My phone number is currently under a Telus Mobility account that includes other members of my family. If I was to do a number transfer, it reports that I "Authorize... the cancellation of my account with my previous service provider." Does that mean my family members will also have their phone numbers cancelled as well?

@samsunga31 the confirmation is unnecessary. This has been asked before and the Community is certain with the answer. Account will only be closed if the line to be ported is the only service in the account. Account will stay opened if there are other services on the account after the line is ported

@SuperMario45100 no worries. Account will only be closed if no other services after the line is ported. In your case, account won't be closed
