I bought a line yesterday and I completed the activation procedure online, I can only make phone calls but I can't receive calls. I was wondering what the problem could be

I didn't know that
I was under the impression that mods talk to port people anyways, so I thought cutting out the middle channel would be beneficial.
I also thought that the only reason the number is not officially listed is because you know that they will start receiving calls for lost passwords and question why is the charge bigger than the plan amount, the forgotten tax etc.

Personally I only suggest the 1877 number when the wait times are extremely long.
@mimmo I do understand pm prefers moderators to handle stuck ports. But it being a high priority issue and while wait times are not 48 hours why make a customer wait when they can get it fixed themselves. It's always being said this is D.I.Y. mobile service provider and when we have been trying to help others like @brayhayden all weekend and last week. This is what his answer was to when is the last time the moderator responded to his issue with no service......
Thanks. Hoping that is it and they will fix. I've not had anyone in touch with me since the 24th. I've replied twice to our last communication with the moderator, but still haven't received a reply.
Sometimes the moderators bring no joy.....

Most likely your porting failed.
Does your old sim work? Have you restated your phone?
If failed port use the question mark to submit a ticket and say failed port to start the process.
