I set up my new Public Mobile SIM and ported in a number from Fido. I got a text message saying port completed successfully. When I place an out going call the new number shows up as the number that I am calling from. When I called my cell phone I get the following message, "this cellular number you have called is not assigned".

make sure you send all information at once so you dont need to wait too long to get your problem fixed :), mine was fixed within less than 24 hr.

I agree with this post about the texts trial as well, except I wouldn't wait for 12 hours to pass before contacting mods 4 hours and it will need to be looked into.

@Boj1234 might have to give it a little bit of time., sometimes if you try calling your number immediately you're not giving the system enough time to complete the full change over. But if you got the successful port text then everything should work fairly soon. Sometimes it can take a couple hours for all the features to work. Sometimes I see it work in just 10 minutes, and other times I see it take a few hours. If you are still having issues after about 4 hours then there may have been a porting issue, and you can touch base with a MOD @CS_Agent. They can redo the port again.

Sounds like something went wrong in the potting process. You will have to message the mods to have them fix it for you on the backend.
