Hello all,
I was thinking about switching over to PM from Freedom mobile due to coverage issues where I am located and just wanted to know if the S9 will work with the PM sim cards
Solved! Go to Solution.

I've been using an s7 with no issues, should be all good
Oh! While I'm thinking of it though, I remember being concerned about inserting the new sim card the first time, because the first sim card it ever used (my case koodo) it did a factory reset on me. It's supposed to be some sort of safety feature or something in the Samsung models? But I made a full backup just in case... Didn't end up needing it, but better safe than sorry right ? I've read it should only be a thing with the very first sim card, but I still wanted to be safe.
Just as a heads up 🙂
