Basically tittle,
My card is being replaced so the card number is invalid at the time of rollover for payment. Are we able to use our points to reactivate our sub with a payment with redemption points or is that only for decreasing our bill?
I did redeem $40 but seeing no option to reactivate my sub and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Thank you,
G

That's a completely different situation. The customer's post stated that the plan didn't renew and your previous post incorrectly said that even if the amount of the credit was enough to pay for the plan, the customer would have to wait until a later date to use those credits. That's not the way the system works. If the credits from the redeemed points are enough to pay for the plan, the service will almost immediately come out of suspension and the service will resume, and without any need for manual payment.

The above isn't correct. Assuming there is no 911 fee, $40 in account credits will be enough to renew a plan that is exactly $40 (before tax price). Also, in that case, the customer would not have to wait. The points redeemed for an account credit will immediately reactive the service in such an example. If not sure, please do not guess.

The $40 credit for redeeming your points will only cover plans under $40 plus taxes but this is for your future payment on next renewal date.
To reactivate your suspended account. You need to make a manual payment to restore service so I would suggest you purchase vouchers to cover your plan then dial 611 and enter voucher number. Vouchers can be purchased from:
