Invalid SIM

Hello,
I just received my new SIM card today and entered the number in the setup and it is saying invalid SIM. anyone know why this may be. I am using an iPhone 7+ and is compatible as i have checked.

@BearFBI Hopefully they can resolve it sooner than that. I would just try every hour and once it works then post back to let everyone know that it's working again.

@geopublic is right. I tried to activate a SIM a few minuiutes ago and I got loads of problems. Invalid SIM was one. Intigonto mode or clearing cache dosent do anything. We will have to wait it out until tommorow.

@m_barrett Other customers are reporting similar issues. Public must be having problems with their activation system. My recommendation is keep trying every hour and it will eventually work.

Hi @m_barrett
When you say entered in setup do you mean when you enter sim number in the activation form?
Is it to first time that you are trying?
If you try second give you sim may be locked into a session, in that case you will have to wait for an hour.
If not, please check your sim number over. Best to use incognito mode with clean cache.

My question would be where di you buy the card from? If you bought it from the website it could be a dud. Ask the moderators to get you another one: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
My second question would be, have you activated it yet or did you just stick it in your phone?
The phone you have should work fine, just ensure that the phone is unlocked.

Is your phone unlocked ? Did you have a previous provider ? If you did then you would need them to unlock it.

If you get this error during activation, restart your browser and try again.
