Hi guys, I have an Iphone 14 plus, my package includes free Canada/US calls etc. I have just returned from the States and I could not connect to the internet, so I could not use my Apple Car Play in the US. As soon as I crossed the border back into Canada it literally became available and automatically connected my Apple Maps and other apps. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? I tried resetting Network but it didn't work. Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Thanks so much, I checked my data roaming and it was off so I think that’s the problem. I really appreciate your help. Many thanks.

This isn't any way to accurately troubleshoot this while you're in Canada. Your phone's settings should actually be identical whether you're using it Canada or the US, assuming that you have automatic network selection chosen. Next time you're in the US, try both automatic network selection, and if that doesn't work, try manually selecting a US network to see if that works (and try each available network). Also, check that the data roaming setting is enabled.

Look like you didn't turn on Roaming Mobile data on the phone. You have the plan, and you still need to tuen on that on the phone
And you need to make sure it connects to T-Mobile or AT&T or Verizon
