I have an international student who needs to use her phone for two more days in Canada, I keep topping up her amount but how do i add money to her phone so she can use it while she is here?  It says it takes 48 hours to go to a new plan, but by then she will be gone.  Help me please.

@scolorado  The options are:

1. Do an immediate plan change via selfserve.
2. Renew the existing plan early so that the data counter can reset. (Need to ask for moderator assistance)
3. Purchase a data add-on 250 MB for $10
4. Purchase a data add-on 1 GB for $30. (better to change to the $25 plan and save $5.00)

@scolorado You cannot add two days to a current plan. You will have to renew for 30 days, but could choose the cheapest plan; $15.

Your student could get free calling/texting while connected to wifi with the Textnow app, but it would be a different phone number.

To be sure you are not paying for services after she has gone be sure to remove your credit card from the account; if you used it.

@scolorado You can use 611 to add funds. But, I don't understand, when is her 30 cycle renewal date?  If it's over 2 days from now, there is no need to add more funds. Unless on the $15 plan, talk and text will still work. Are you trying to purchase an addon?

If she already have a plan, she can renew early or buy call minutes or data add-ons.  There is no text add-on.
