Subject: Inquiry Regarding Plan Chang

Hi,

I am a Public Mobile customer with two lines under my account, and I am very interested in your new plan that offers 75GB of data in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, along with 1000 long-distance minutes, for $35 per month (as shown in the attached picture).

I have a few questions about this plan:

1. Is the information about this plan accurate?

2. How long can I keep this plan once I sign up? Does it have an expiry date, or can I keep this plan indefinitely?

3. When changing my plan, I see two options: "Change it right now" and "Change on renewal date." If I select the "Change on renewal date" option, will this plan still be available on my renewal date, which is January 25th?

Please help me clarify these concerns. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Rizwan

I know that all new subscriber plans include some LD minutes ranging from 100-1000 minutes. You can check your plan for inclusion by going to the app, and checking your “Usage Breakdown” tab. Extras will be displayed there. Hope this helps.

I just changed to that 75GB plan but I don't get the LD min. I think the LD min is for new subscribers.

No problem at all. You can find your details in the app using the “Usage Breakdown” tab. Swipe down on the page to refresh it as sometimes it has cache problems updating. Hope this helps.

Hi @Rbhatti3 , yes , select the plan now to change on renewal and you are good to go. It will take effect on your renewal date. The LD minutes will reset to 1000 every 30 days. And you are free to use your 1000 minutes to call any of the 7 International countries listed in your plan, as long as you are physically in Canada.

Hi @Rbhatti3

The plan info is accurate and with the Can /US /Mex plan you can use your phone while you are in any of these 3 countries as if you are sitting at home 🙂

If you choose this plan today, it will be your plan and price until YOU choose to change it by either leaving PM, or opting for a different plan (keeping in mind that choosing a less expensive plan in the future may be tough, as PM is currently making it tougher Rob”downgrade”)

Lastly, I highly recommend taking this plan now and selecting CHANGE ON RENEWAL. This will secure your plan and price and will automatically take over on your renewal date so you don’t lose any unused minutes or data from your current cycle. Take a screenshot of the pending renewal once you’ve selected it, just in case something errs on the back end, so you have proof just in case. Hope this answers all your questions, have a great day

@Rbhatti3

I am assuming you have 2 different emails for each of the 2 lines because PM only allows 1 account (line)/1 email.

1 - Yes, this plan allows you to have service (calling, texting and data) in all 3 countries. This plan is only available on your account if you are eligible for it only if it is listed on your account under Subscription>Manage Subscription>Change Subscription. PM recently are not allowing downgrading (lower priced) from your current plan and can only upgrade plans. If not listed in your account then you are not eligible. I don’t know what you mean by how accurate it is but I hope this answer the question.

2 - No expiry date as long as you don’t switch to another plan because PM doesn’t allow you to switch back to your old plan. The plan I am on stayed the same price for 3 years until I switch to another plan.

3 - Always switch plan on your “Next Renewal Date” so you can lock in the price even after the plan expires. If you switch “Now”, PM is not prorated and they didn’t give refunds/credit on unused days.

I hope This answers all your concerns.
