Incoming Phone Calls go Directly to Voicemail

When others call the phone number of this providers phone they are immediately sent to voicemail. If they wait 5 seconds and call again the phone call goes through. Why is it going straight to voicemail, but the person is not in a phone call? Thanks

Try resetting the Network setting and reboot your phone.

What phone do you have? 

You phone likely not on PM's VoLTE whitelist and still using 3G for voice calls but have a weak 3G coverage where you are

Try changing the phone's network mode to 3G and test if incoming calls come smoothly
