In US and roaming plan not working.

having trouble in US. Can’t get phone to work for talk or text despite selecting T mobile. My Plan already US talk and text so I didn’t purchase an exta add on. Sooo frustrating. Any ideas appreciated.

 @DW912 : So under your My Data & Add-ons you have the line saying "2GB at 3G speed" right? (Assuming you still some of that data bucket left.)

@DW912   and just for testing, when you are on T-Mobile, try to do 3G only.  Just want to see if 3G is actually there. 

And when you are on T-Mobile, data actually work on 3G or LTE?

@DW912    I wonder if you want to test it out if VoLTE works on AT&T.  We are hoping it will work.  what kind of phone do you have?

Account is active. I use it all the time  at home in BC and fairly frequent trips to the US but this is the first trip since feb 22nd changes. Resetting hasn’t worked so far.

I am not sure what the details of the old $60 plan but it sounds like it worked for you in the past.

I suggest you contact a CS_Agent to look into this matter.

Meanwhile, maybe you should grab a local SIM. Since this is related to work, I am sure you can as for reimbursement from your employer.

 @DW912 : Lucky you...well if you like spending that kind of money anyway. That was a great plan for frequent visitors. It was only available for a short period.

Maybe a simple restart.

Is your account actually active?

I would not suggest add-ons if you have that plan.

I do have the old $60 plan. It has always worked great for me. But not this trip. 
do you think adding an add on would Fix it short term? I’m down here for work and can’t be out of contact for the week.

You need to purchase one of the 10 Day US Roaming add-ons. The plan you currently have, only works while in Canada.

edit....I have to learn to type with more than just one finger....too slow.

Unless you have the old $60 plan that included roaming...you need to purchase roaming add-ons (Edit: if you wish to use your number in the states). The current plans with US are for calling _to_ the US from Canada.
