If i change my number would I be losing my refferal

Just wondering if I change or port my number will that effect my refer a friend benefit

Did you talk to the mods? Perhaps they could give you your referral back?

I got burned by changing the name on one of my accounts from my wife's to my daughter and poof, lost the referral bonus on the main line. As soon as I hit save I got a text saying we are sorry but your referral bonus will be less this month because one of your friends have left.

NO, it's linked to your account not your phone number.
