LG phone need network reset after switching provider. It is not like factory reset which will delete your data.
If you purchased used LG phone, you may want to do the factory reset to remove all previous owner data stored on the phone.

Since the phone is new to you then a factory reset won't hurt anything and seems to be needed with LG phones.
Then find your phone on this list:

If your phone isn't there maybe these might work:

MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS proxy: 74.49.0.18

MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4

LG phones are infamous for sometimes needing a factory reset in order to get data working on a different carrier. Keep in mind that process would erase any user content on your device.
