If you have active service and you are worried that someone may find your sim card and use it then you can also suspend your service in your account using the lost/stolen toggle.
Once you have a new sim card make sure you unsuspend your service via lost/stolen before swapping sim cards (as explained above). If your 30 day cycle ends before you get a new sim card you will have to make a manual payment to reactivate your service and start a new 30 day cycle.
You can also check out Canadian Cell Services located in the GTA. Order online for pick up instore or they currently have free shipping via Canada Post. A couple of days in the GTA and usually 5 business days to most major centers across the country. Public Mobile sim cards on sale $4+tax.

You can order one from Amazon for $5 or from PM but it may take up to 3 weeks to arrive or go to your local Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik store for $10.
Then login to your account and go to Account tab>ChangeYour SIM Card to transfer your number and account to the new SIM.

You can change your Sim Card in the mobile app, under "Account" > "Change Your SIM Card". This should keep your current number and plan.
