I can not receive a verification SMS Code

Hello;

I do not have any problem to send and receive SMS but for some reason I can not receive the verification Code that send by TradingView platform .

Is there any specific reason for that ?

So I am just thinking that this issue can happend for send and receive internationaly SMS , maybe tradingview send the SMS out of Canada .

hi @matt4949 

if you just ported  your line into PM, then you need to wait 3 days for all 2FA to catch up, it is normal after porting

if TradingView platform sent the 2FA from US, you won't receive it.  Only 2FA from Canada.  Also, TradingView help page also suggest you to login TradingView and disable 2FA and reenable it if you changed phone or changed carrier

Hey @matt4949,

I can receive 2FA codes just fine from Amazon, Tim Hortons, and Rogers. You mentioned that you can receive all your other SMS messages — do you also receive other 2FA codes without any issues?

Since regular texts work, the problem might be on TradingView’s side. You might want to reach out to their support team to make sure their system is sending the verification code correctly to your number.
