How to activate the data sharing

When i want to do a data sharing it says that public mobile have to activate it

@rceccato- Unfortunately, @Edrick never got back to us to update. Check the APN settings in the phone.

settings, mobile data, mobile data network, fill in all the settings - let us know if you're unclear on them.

Also - settings, personal hotspot, allow others to join, turn on wifi and bluetooth, set a wifi password.

Are you sure about this.  I have an iPhone 14 and I keep getting the same error about Public needs to turn it on.  I am on the 40.00 16 GB plan.  Any ideas??

HI @Edrick   If it is about hotspot, did you try it and it  failed?

Check your APN, some needs this for APN type :

default,supl,mms,dun

Do you mean hotspot data or sharing your data plan with other people in your family?

There's a lot of tutorials on how to enable hotspot on your phone by Googling the question.

You can't have a family plan on Public to share your data with others. One account per plan.

How do you define 'data sharing'? PM does not offer that.

If you think of 'hot spot' it depends on your phone.

There isn't anything for Public Mobile to activate.  Hotspot is fully enabled at Public Mobile. This is a device software issue.  Which model of phone do you have?
