How to Switch back to e-SIM Card

I used e-SIM card before but then changed to a phone which doesn’t support e SIM card by purchasing a physical SIM card. Now I would like to switch back to e-SIM card for iPhone 17 Air. It seems that I could not find “opt for e-SIM card” option in Public Mobile App, under My Account, Purchase A SIM. Could anyone please shed some light on that? Thank you.

Would you mind if I ask two more questions? 

I am currently using a physical SIM card now. If I get an e-SIM from Public Mobile, will my e-SIM card be automatically deactivated? 
Second question is that despite I selected my phone as trusted device, how come I was required to verify my phone every time I log into Public Mobile?

Yes.  You will see that eSIM option when you launch the PM app on a phone with eSIM capability 

And just in case you still don't see eSIM option on your new phone, you can check with PM CS agent for further investigation

Thank you for your kind assistance, much appreciated! So the problem that I could not find “opt to an e SIM” in Purchase a SIM under my account was because my current phone doesn’t support e SIM? When the new phone arrives and after installing Public Mobile app in the new phone, I will be able to see e SIM card options? Am I understanding this correctly? Thank you.

To rebuy new eSIM , first, download the app on your new phone and login.  If you have problem with receiving 2FA code, click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend code" and choose either Send email or Send voice message

Once logged in, Click Account from the bottom, then click Purchase SIM Card and select eSIM. 

Once it confirms your phone is eSIM compatible, click Pay $  and Install and follow the prompt to complete and purchase and install eSIM on your device
