I want to install a new eSim on a new phone, but the Public Mobile app does not work on that phone (Mudita). I need a QR code.
More detail: I was able to install the PM app via side loading, but when I open the app, I get an "App Maintenance" page (even though the app works fine on my other phone).
Also, I tried creating a ticket, but I got this error: "There seems to be an error submitting the ticket" (It might help to actually say what the error is!)

OK, thanks. I'll just get a physical SIM.

Thanks for your quick reply. This is the North American version of the Mudita Kompakt phone, so it should work. See: https://mudita.com/products/phones/mudita-kompakt/find-your-best-fit/
If I purchase the eSim using the app on my old phone, can I install it on the new phone using the QR code?

yes and no
yes, you don't have to use the app on your phone
no , you still need another friend to use the app to activate for you for eSIM. But it is very tricky, your friend needs to stop at the right time, not let the app to install eSIM on his phone. PM will send you an email with the eSIM QR code and you can then scan and install. But again, it is very tricky to do so.

First, you do need to download the app to get your account started. It can send the QR code to you.
To confirm if your phone will work with Public Mobile, please see this link. At the bottom of the page, you can insert your IMEI number and the system will advise you if it will work with Public Mobile. I am positive that phone won't work with Public Mobile as it's not a North American phone.
