How to Cancel Koodo Switch Promotion

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'd like to ask how can I cancel my decision to switch to Koodo from the promotion at the beginning of September? 

 

I received an email from Koodo stating that the switch will be processed in 5-10 days, and I will receive an email when the phone and plans are shipped. It's now 15 days and I haven't received any emails yet. And I realized I don't need the $40 for 8gb plan from Koodo anymore, and would like to stay with Public Mobile's $10/month plan.

 

Can someone advise what I can do to cancel it since it's still "in process" and the account hasn't been switched yet??

@You got offer from Koodo to switch, since you mention you have $10 Plan with PM only, sell it @ RFD and make some coins

 

Specifically, the regular Koodo customer service channels will not work in these types of cases.  So, calling *611 from a friend's Koodo phone wouldn't work (the call would work but they wouldn't be able to cancel the order), nor would published Koodo customer service numbers such as 1 (866) 995-6636.

 

For device, sim, and plan orders processed online, you must contact the Koodo Webstore to cancel the order.

 

Koodo Webstore contact information:

1-844 566-3697 Tuesday through Friday 3-9pm (eastern) or by e-mail at koodo.webstore@koodomobile.com

 

Contacting them over the phone can sometimes take hours because after about 2 minutes on hold, their system will automatically prompt you to leave a message or just hang up you and ask you to call back.

 

If it's just a sim card that you've ordered, these normally aren't refundable, but if you can get it cancelled before shipment, my experiences have been that they will refund the cost of the sim card.

 

I do see that you mentioned a phone a sim card for your order.  My understanding is that you just refuse the shipment. If for whatever reason, someone does accept the package on your behalf, it can still be returned to the Koodo Webstore.  It won't cost you anything to return the package, but you'll have to contact Webstore ahead of time before sending a previously delivered package back to them.  They would then provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.

If you have not cancel your PM plan or ported your PM number to Koodo, you can stay with PM.

 

Call Koodo to cancel your new plan ASAP. You have 15 days to cancel without paying a penny.

Get the tracking number from Koodo to find out where is the package.

Don't accept delivery of your phone and Koodo SIM when they arroive.

Is your Public Mobile plan still active and working?

 

You would need to call Koodo and ask them to cancel your order.  It should (hopefully) be possible, if it hasn't been processed/shipped yet.  You would then just continue using your Public Mobile plan.
