I’ve put in a ticket because my Koodo number hasn’t transferred over and I have no idea if/when to put in new SIM card.

@Bunnybfunny

If you wish to transfer an existing numbering from Koodo Prepaid or PC Mobile, you will need to first complete your activation with a new number, then reach out to our Customer Support Agents here in order to transfer your existing number to Public Mobile.

For future reference:

To contact the Public Mobile Customer Support Agent (CSA)_Team, there are two methods to reach them:

1 -  Faster  use this link to: Get Help With SIMon the Public Mobile chatbot

OR

2 – Slower - Use this link to:

Contact Public Mobile Representatives (CSA) by submitting a message(ticket) to them here:

Private Message to Public Mobile Customer Support Agents (CSA)

If it's Koodo prepaid you have to get a new number first and then port in the old number afterwards. You cannot skip that step and immediately port it over like you can with a postpaid.

Prepaid I think… the $15.99

Is it prepaid or postpaid Koodo? And if postpaid did you receive the porting text?

It wouldn't hurt anything to try. With the Koodo sim in does anything work? Put in the Public sim does anything work?
