Hello @Bratt80

I have a different view that's been posted. When you port your number over to PM, you are required to have your old providers SIM card in your phone. Shortly after your porting request here, you should receive a porting text from the other service provider asking your permission to port. You will have 1. 5 hours to reply yes. Once you reply yes, you just need to watch the top corner of your phone to where the service providers name is. Once you see it go to SOS, the transfer has been made and you can now turn off your phone, take out your old SIM, insert your new SIM and restart your phone. Your number should not be at PM. If you're having any issues, you can just reset your network settings to clear your previous carriers info. Hope this helps.

EDIT: If it's been more than 2 hours since you made the request, please let us know and one of the members here will sent you a phone number to call to get them to request the port again. Remember, you must have the other providers SIM in the phone for the port to work or to get the porting request text.

HI @Bratt80

as long as you replied the porting authorization text from your old carrier, then you can remove the old sim card and put in the new  PM sim card.  Initially, you can only make outbound calls but not inbound.  Just reboot every 30 mins and test inbound calls. If the inbound calls arrive your PM sim, port is done and your old account with the old carrier would be closed

have you replied Yes to the porting confirmation test sent by your old provider?  If you did and if you wait an hour or two, reboot the phone with the old sim card and you should see it unable to connect. That would meant the number was ported and you can put in PM sim card
