How do I make Autopay come out on the same date each month?

I looked through my payment history, it started out paying on the 18th of the month, then autopay came out on the 17, then the 16, then 15th.  This month it tried to come out on the 14th of Feb in the evening sometime.  We get paid on the 15th so it bounced and shut down my husband's phone.  I went in and did a manual payment today, the account is back and active again. It says the next payment is March 17th, which will be good, but I'm not sure why auto pay started taking payments out one day early as each month went by?  How do I stop this?

@sandyvalleeThe only time the date will stay the same is when the calender month has 30 days (April, June, September, November) and you are signed up on a 30 day plan.

@RobertQc, the same date occurs in the month following a month with 30 days.  31 days, it's a day sooner, 28 days, it's 2 days later.  If your previous payment is January 31st, next will be March 1st.

@sandyvalleeThe only time the date will stay the same is when the calender month has previously had (thanks @stonechucker) 30 days (April, June, September, November) and you are signed up on a 30 day plan.

@sandyvalleeYou can't Public mobile is 30 days, or 90 days. Not a calendar month. The dates will change almost every calendar month.

Service Terms between You and Public Mobile

As you read through these Service Terms, please note that:

"Month" means the thirty day period from the purchase of a rate plan to the expiry of service on that rate plan, and does not vary with the length of calendar months;
