Alrighty folks.. Anyone have any advice on how to proceed with this one?
I've got an iPhone se (2020)..2 lines, 1 esim 1 physical. When I'm using my hotspot and my phone dies.. It kills any ability to use the hotspot on whatever line I was using data on. Primary has used about 2 out of 100 gbs and secondary has used 45 out of 60 gbs..so there's plenty of data capacity left to use them. I can set up my phone to use the data on my secondary (esim) just fine, but it will not let me use my primary line at all. In the settings under hotspot it says "set up personal hotspot" (which it hadn't done previously) and when I click on that it says "to enable personal hotspot on this account, contact public mobile." I consider this weird as I didn't ever need to do that when I just had 1 line and it has never asked me to do that on my secondary line either. This option has only shown up after my phone died during a hotspot session. I've tried switching back and forth between lines, powering off and back on numerous times, I've tried powering off, taking out the sim/putting it back in and then powering on numerous times. None of that has helped. This one got me stumped not gonna lie. Please tell me I'm being stupid here and that there's an easy fix lol.
Thanks for taking the time to read and help! 🙂

Good to hear that the issue resolved itself. I was doing some background research when you posted that it was solved. It was an interesting issue.
Hopefully, it does not happen again. If it does, maybe try a network reset of your phone next time. Note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords.

Wellllll.. I don't know how it started. And I also do not know how it ended... But I went to switch it to my primary line one more time to see if I could figure stuff out myself and the problem seems to have fixed itself somehow. I know I didn't do a darn thing to fix it lol. But hey, a fix is a fix. Thanks to all who took a look at this weird problem I had!
