Had no service, but the "coverage map" said I should.

Was at "Bon Echo Provincial Park, 16151 Hwy 41, Cloyne, ON K0H 1K0, Canada" last week and kept loosing cell signal. Would get signal at the beach but kept loosing it back at the camp site. I know being out of a main city and in the trees can effect signal but on the "coverage map" it says I should have coverage. And it was not like we were on the edge of the coverage area, we are well within it. Also I was the only one with this issue (Everyone else is on rogers service was fine, I know we are running on Telus, but still, I had almost no service)

I have an android phone that is relatively new (1.5 years old), so I know it was not a phone issue.

I checked the service map before so figured I should be fine.

Is this common, or kind of a fluke?

@Jessica7  Next time try setting your phone's network to 3G instead of 4G/LTE. Sometimes helps.

Many factors can influence signal strength. Were you alone or with somebody having a phone with different provider? Then you can compare connections...
