Hi everybody

Did anybody by any chance try Gome U7 with public (or any telus/bell company)

A friend is considering

The network is

3G WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz

4G FDD LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8

It seems to be $30 less than umidigi a5 pro but have much less bells too

Those that do understand something about the network, could you please suggest how much worse would lte be compared to a5 pro

A5 pro network

3G network WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5/B6/B8/B19
4Gnetwork B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B18/B19/B20/B26/B28A/B28B/B6

I suspect b7 may be a big deal

Can anybody elaborate?

Thanks in advance

Thanks everybody for your input I passed the messages and talked them into fishing for A5 pro, especially since good camera app can turn it into a jewel probably.

With repurposing of 3G bands for LTE, B2 and B5 are becoming just as important as B4.  But why risk coverage holes when there are other viable options?  The only negative with the A5 pro is the terrible camera app.  This comment is from a non camera person.  It's a software issue and not hardware.

@totalUser  If a phone does not support B4 for LTE/4G then don't buy it.

It's missing the 4g band 4 frequencies. So, no  4g LTE data.

The A5pro will give both 3g and 4g LTE data. Personally I would spend the extra $30.
