I have chosen the 20 dollars unlimited talk plan which does not include Text. I thought I would not need text at all, but when I find out now I can't even receive text with this plan, I felt I underestimated the importance of text.
Is there a way to get my text to work without losing too much money?

@wetcoaster Yes. Very true. I didn’t even think to check if it would likely be a 30 day plan. Good catch!
@dtrmcc No problem! The mods are super helpful so I’m sure they’ll be able to sort you out quickly and painlessly.

Since you seem to be on a 30day plan you could also future date a plan change in self serve, going without texts for a couple of weeks (combining it with the WiFi / third party option?)

When did you sign up? You may be able to add funds to your account and have one of the mods update your plan for the remainder of your term.
If it’s been awhile, you could change your plan immediately but you’ll lose any money paid towards the remainder of your old plans term.
Another option would be to use a third party app but that will only work while connected to wifi and if you have a device that supports it.
